Tick Control Management Services Montgomery County

Peter Benz Landscaping recognizes that deer are not only causing a great deal of destruction to Pennsylvania properties but they are also spreading Lyme disease. Our tick control management services include the installation of Damminix Tick Tubes. These tick tubes deliver an environmentally safe deer tick controlling insecticide directly to the host animal and the tick it infects. This method of tick control has proven results showing a 90 percent reduction of exposure to Lyme disease-carrying ticks.

Montgomery County Deer Fencing Installations

Peter Benz Landscaping is fully licensed and insured to install deer fencing, deer grates and entrance gates on properties throughout Montgomery County PA and surrounding areas. With our extensive experience in landscape design, as well as fence installation, we are able to naturally blend any deer fencing system into the aesthetics of your property.

Tree Injections Montgomery County PA

At Peter Benz Landscaping we offer a variety of tree injections for systemic treatment of both insect and disease issues in the landscape. We are certified for Mauget and ArborJet tree injection treatments. These tree injections reduce the environmental exposure by eliminating or reducing the spraying of chemicals on your property.

About Montgomery County PA

Located in southeast Pennsylvania, Montgomery County was created in 1784 from land that was originally a part of Philadelphia County. It was originally named after Richard Montgomery, an American general who served during the Revolutionary War. Originally settled by the Quakers, the county evolved over the years as the nearby city of Philadelphia expanded and became a major center for industry. Many residents of the county commute to Phiiladelphia, but the county also offers a number of major employers, which include several presitgious higher-learning institutions. Coupling this economic base with a rich history, thriving local culture and beautiful natural landscapes is the reason why Forbes named Montgomery County the 9th Best Place to Raise a Family in 2008.

The county cover a total area of 487 square miles with 483 square miles being land. It has 2 state parks: Evansburg and Fort Washington. There are also 7 county parks: Central Perkiomen Valley, Green Lane, Lock 60 at the Schuylkill Canal, Lorimer, Lower Perkiomen Valley, Norristown Farm Park, and Upper Schuylkill Valley. There are also 5 Nature Centers (NCs): Briar Bush, Jarrett, John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust and Riverbend Environmental Education Center. There are also 3 arboretems located in the county: Morris (University of Pennsylvania), Curtis and Jenkins.
